An interesting game for Fjolnir (14-4) which hosted in Reykjavik 3rd ranked Skallagrimur (12-6). Second ranked Fjolnir managed to get a 4-point victory 89-85. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-85. Fjolnir forced 21 Skallagrimur turnovers. It was a good game for American forward Collin Pryor (200-90, college: Northern St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. Forward Egill Egilsson (194-91) contributed with 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Fjolnir players scored in double figures. Bahamas swingman J.R. Cadot (196-87, college: TCU) replied with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds and point guard Sigtryggur Bjornsson (180-93) added 18 points in the effort for Skallagrimur. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Fjolnir maintains second position with 14-4 record behind leader Thor AK. Skallagrimur at the other side dropped to the fourth place with six games lost.
