No shocking result in a game in Stykkisholmur where ninth rankedThor (2-3) edged bottom-ranked Snaefell (1-5) 86-83 on Friday. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 26-18 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Thor outrebounded Snaefell 48-31 including 18 on the offensive glass. American forward Tim Dalger (201, college: St.Louis) had a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Reynir Robertsson (186-2004) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Spanish forward Juan Luis Navarro (198-1991) with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Spanish point guard Alejandro Rubiera (190-1998) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four Snaefell players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Thor moved-up to seventh place. Snaefell lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with five games lost.
