The most exciting game of round 15 in the Subway League took place in Thorlakshofn. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 6th rankedThor Thorl (7-8) to eighth ranked IR (7-8) 95-94 in the game for the fifth place. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 47-43 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. IR made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Slovenian swingman Matej Kavas (201-1996, college: Nebraska) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Jacob Falko (190-2000, college: Binghamton, agency: Players Group) chipped in 28 points and 9 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). IR's coach Isak Wium used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American-French forward Jordan Semple (201-1992, college: Chico St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and Croatian-American point guard Nikolas Tomsick (183-1991, college: Fort Lewis) added 21 points and 5 assists respectively. Five Thor Thorl players scored in double figures. IR moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Thor Thorl .
