Very expected game when 11th rankedHaukar (4-15) was smashed on the road by third ranked Njardvik (13-6) 103-81 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Njardvik. Haukar managed to win fourth quarter 27-17 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for British-French guard Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye (193-1996, college: Bradley) who led the winners and scored 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!). Guard Veigar Alexandersson (193-2001, college: Chowan) accounted for 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Four Njardvik players scored in double figures. American forward DeSean Parsons (201-1995, college: Portland St.) came up with 23 points and 7 rebounds and Belgian Seppe DEspallier (197-1999) added 18 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) respectively for Haukar in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Njardvik . They maintain third place with 13-6 record behind leader Tindastoll. Haukar lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 15 games lost. They share it with Hottur.
