An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Hafnarfjordur. First rankedHaukar faced second-ranked Njardvik . Host Haukar (19-3) smashed guests from Njardvik (16-6) 94-68 . It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Njardvik. The game without a history. Haukar led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 20 Njardvik turnovers and had a 20-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Haukar players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Belgian forward Lore Devos (185-1999, college: Colorado St., agency: LBM Management) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 17 rebounds. International guard Tinna Alexandersdottir (177-2003) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Cambodian point guard Brittany Dinkins (170-1994) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and Swedish Paulina Hersler (190-1994, college: Florida) added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Njardvik. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Haukar have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 19-3 record. Njardvik at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost.
