The game was mostly controlled by Armann. Selfoss was better in third quarter22-21 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Armann made 24-of-29 charity shots (82.8 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists. American forward Cedrick Bowen (198-1992, college: Charleston So.) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Jaxson Baker (203, college: UNH) accounted for 22 points and 7 rebounds. American swingman Follie Bogan (193-2000, college: Milligan) came up with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Czech center Vojtech Novak (205-1997) added 19 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Selfoss in the defeat. Five Armann and four Selfoss players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
