The game without a history. Keflavik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared toTindastoll 's 26. Keflavik forced 33 Tindastoll turnovers and outrebounded them 144-112 including a 56-44 advantage in offensive rebounds. Keflavik looked well-organized offensively handing out 43 assists comparing to just 28 passes made by Tindastoll 's players. American swingman Jasmine Dickey (175-2000, college: Delaware, agency: LBM Management) nailed a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and the former international forward Sara Hinriksdottir (185-1996, college: Canisius) accounted for 18 points. Keflavik's coach Fridrik Runarsson felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Syrian guard Randi Brown (173-1996, college: New Orleans) came up with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Polish forward Edyta Falenczyk (180-1993, agency: DC Sports) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Tindastoll in the defeat.
