The game was mostly controlled by Keflavik. Tindastoll was better in second period21-16 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Keflavik dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Tindastoll 's 26. Keflavik players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Tindastoll 's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of American swingman Jasmine Dickey (175-2000, college: Delaware, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 16 rebounds. The former international forward Sara Hinriksdottir (185-1996, college: Canisius) helped adding 14 points and 9 rebounds. Keflavik's coach Fridrik Runarsson felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Polish forward Edyta Falenczyk (180-1993, agency: DC Sports) with 9 points and 14 rebounds and American-Syrian guard Randi Brown (173-1996, college: New Orleans) scored 14 points.
