Semi-Finals Game 3: Stjarnan - Grindavik 91-105

It looked good early as Stjarnan took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Grindavik had a 36-26 second period charge getting the lead and Stjarnan was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 91-105.Grindavik players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Stjarnan was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Jeremy Pargo (188-1986, college: Gonzaga) who led the winners and scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Hungarian-American swingman DeAndre Kane (195-1989, college: Iowa St.) accounted for 18 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists for the winning side. Five Grindavik players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Aegir Steinarsson (185-1991, college: Newberry) came up with 22 points and 6 assists and the former international guard Hilmar Henningsson (195-2000) added 27 points respectively for Stjarnan in the defeat.
