Bottom-ranked Vestri (0-3) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their third consecutive match to eighth ranked Njardvik 2 (2-3) 59-54 on Sunday evening. Strangely Vestri outrebounded Njardvik 2 52-40 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Njardvik 2 moved-up to sixth place. Loser Vestri still closes the standings with three games lost. Njardvik 2 will meet at home league's leader Selfoss in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vestri will play against Athena (#3) in Reykjavík and hopes to get finally their first victory.
