No shocking result in a game when fifth rankedKR (7-3) beat 9th ranked Armann (1-9) in Reykjavik 79-68 on Tuesday. KR outrebounded Armann 43-32 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. KR looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Ivorian guard Molly Kaiser (173-2002, college: NM State) notched 25 points and 7 assists to lead the effort and Eve Braslis supported her with 17 points and 9 rebounds. KR's coach Daniel Halldorsson let to play all 12 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by American point guard Abby Beeman (163-2001, college: Marshall) did not help to save the game for Armann . Her fellow American import forward Nabaweeyah McGill (188-2001, college: TAMUCC) added 19 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. KR moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Armann lost sixth consecutive game. Armann at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the ninth position with nine games lost.
