The game without a history. Breidablik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. American swingman Sardaar Calhoun (198-1999, college: Drake, agency: Diamond Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Czech center Vojtech Novak (205-1997) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. FourBreidablik players scored in double figures. Slovenian forward Milorad Sedlarevic (201-1993, college: UPEI, agency: Dagger Basket) replied with 26 points and guard Saevar Palmason (191-2007) added 22 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Skallagrimur. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
