The game in Galway supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Swords Thunder (7-1) played at the court of 7th ranked Moycullen (2-5). Swords Thunder smashed Moycullen 102-79 on Saturday. Swords Thunder dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Moycullen's 50. They outrebounded Moycullen 65-36 including a 43-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Swords Thunder looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Swords Thunder made 11 blocks. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Swords Thunder have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 7-1 record behind leader Templeogue. Moycullen at the other side keeps the seventh place with five games lost. They share the position with Belfast Star. Swords Thunder will meet at home Tralee (#5) in the next round. Moycullen will play against the league's leader Templeogue in Dublin and hope to secure a win.
