Regular Season Round 6: Maree - Swords Thunder 70-84

Bottom-ranked Maree (0-7) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to third ranked Swords Thunder (5-2) 84-70. It was a good game for the former international point guard Isaac Westbrooks (189-85) who led his team to a victory with 20 points. Guard Travis Black (191) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Point guard Eoin Rockall (185-98) replied with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and international Kenneth Hansberry added 15 points in the effort for Maree. Swords Thunder maintains third position with 5-2 record behind leader Tralee. Maree at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Swords Thunder's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Dublin DCU Saints.
