Regular Season Round 21: Ramat Hasharon - Galil Gilboa 98-85

National League round 21 caused change at the leadership position. Fifth defeat of league's leader Galil Gilboa (16-5) against ninth ranked Hasharon (9-12) 98-85 was the most important game of the last round. Hasharon looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a good game for American forward Billy McShepard (208-87, college: Valdosta St., agency: Blacktop Management) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Ido Stolero (189-88) contributed with 24 points and 5 assists for the winners. American Jason Siggers (194-85, college: Albany) answered with 23 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and the other American import forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-91, college: Akron) added 24 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) in the effort for Galil Gilboa. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hasharon moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Maccabi H/H. Galil Gilboa at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Ironi K-A who have the same record. Galil Gilboa will play next round against Hapoel Kfar Saba trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Hasharon will try to continue on its current victory against twelfth ranked Hap.R/G Givat. in Givataim.
