The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Maccabi Raanana as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Maccabi Raanana defeated 11th ranked Ironi Ramat Gan at home 84-70. Maccabi Raanana have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Hapoel K/S. Ironi Ramat Gan at the other side dropped to the ninth place with three games lost. They share the position with 5 other teams. Ironi Ramat Gan will play next round against Hasharon trying to get back on the winning streak.
