Not a big story in a game in Hod Hasharon where 10th ranked Hasharon (3-6) was defeated by seventh ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (5-4) 75-69. It was a good game for American swingman Sir'Dominic Pointer (198-92, college: St.John's) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks. Guard Noam Matalon (197-87) contributed with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Ironi Kiryat Ata players scored in double figures. American Storm Warren (201-88, college: LSU, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import guard Vernon Teel (193-87, college: Loyola Mary) added 16 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 9 steals in the effort for Hasharon. Hasharon's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ironi Kiryat Ata moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Hap.R/G Givat. and Ironi Nes-Ziona. Hasharon at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with six games lost. Ironi Kiryat Ata's next round opponent will be Hap.Haifa (#8). Hasharon will play against Galil Elion (#10) in Kazrin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
