Regular Season Round 12: Hapoel Galilee - Macc.Rehovot 86-92

An interesting game for Maccabi Rehovot (10-2) which played road game in Kazrin against 4th ranked Hapoel Galilee (7-4). First ranked Maccabi Rehovot managed to get a 6-point victory 92-86. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hapoel Galilee. American players dominated the game. The winners were led by swingman Marcus Relphorde (198-88, college: Colorado, agency: Ron Sport) who scored that evening 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and forward AlLonzo Coleman (201-89, college: Presbyterian) supported him with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Even 20 points and 8 rebounds by forward Brandon Edwards (198-91, college: Texas Arlington) did not help to save the game for Hapoel Galilee. Forward Jordan Lewis (195-89, college: Cal Poly - SLO) added 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Hapoel Galilee players scored in double figures. Maccabi Rehovot maintains first position with 10-2 record. Loser Hapoel Galilee dropped to the fifth place with four games lost. Maccabi Rehovot will meet at home Hasharon (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hapoel Galilee will play against Maccabi K/M (#14) in Kiryat Motzkin and hope to secure a win.
