Very expected game in Kiryat Motzkin where 12th ranked Maccabi K/M (6-10) was crushed by third ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (11-5) 90-71 on Tuesday. Ironi Kiryat Ata shot 28 for 38 from the free-throw line, while Maccabi K/M only scored five points from the stripe. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Maccabi K/M was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Daniel Danino (185-96) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Malik Cooke (201-89, college: S.Carolina, agency: Inception Sports) who added 18 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American swingman Folarin Campbell (189-86, college: George Mason) responded with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import power forward Kenny Hall (206-90, college: Tennessee) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ironi Kiryat Ata have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Maccabi K/G and Hapoel B/S. Newly promoted Maccabi K/M dropped to the tenth position with ten games lost. Ironi Kiryat Ata will face Elitzur Yavne (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Maccabi K/M will play against Hapoel Afula and hope to win that game.
