Very expected game when 6th ranked Hapoel Galilee (13-11) was defeated on the road by second ranked Maccabi Rehovot (18-7) 82-64. Maccabi Rehovot players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American swingman Marcus Relphorde (198-88, college: Colorado, agency: Ron Sport) nailed 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import forward AlLonzo Coleman (201-89, college: Presbyterian) accounted for 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Brandon Edwards (198-91, college: Texas Arlington) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Rom Geffen (193-94, agency: Avi Zilberman) added 16 points respectively for Hapoel Galilee in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Maccabi Rehovot maintains second place with 18-7 record behind leader Maccabi K/G. Hapoel Galilee lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 11 games lost. Maccabi Rehovot will play against Hasharon (#13) in Hod Hasharon in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Hapoel Galilee will play at home against Maccabi K/M (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
