9th ranked Maccabi Ashdod (11-17) was outscored at home by eighth ranked Rishon (13-15) with the biggest margin this round 93-66 on Monday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Maccabi Ashdod. Rishon looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Maccabi Ashdod's players. Rishon moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Nes-Ziona. Loser Maccabi Ashdod keeps the ninth position with 17 games lost. Rishon will face Ironi Nahariya (#11) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Maccabi Ashdod will play against Hapoel Tel-Aviv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
