Regular Season Round 1: H.Jerusalem - M.Ramat Gan 63-57

H.Jerusalem used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Ramat Hen 63-57 on Monday night. H.Jerusalem outrebounded M.Ramat Gan 49-26 including a 13-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. American Erika Davenport (182-1997, college: Marquette) nailed a double-double by scoring 10 points and 19 rebounds for the winning side and her fellow American import power forward G'Mrice Davis (189-1996, college: Fordham) accounted for 16 points and 12 rebounds. Four H.Jerusalem players scored in double figures. International guard Gili Eisner (178-2001) came up with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American forward Dariauna Lewis (185-2000, college: Syracuse) added 6 points and 13 rebounds respectively for M.Ramat Gan in the defeat. H.Jerusalem will meet H.Petah Tikva on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. M.Ramat Gan will play against M.Ashdod in Ashdod and hope to win that game.
