The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss ofHapoel Holon (2-1) on the court of fifth ranked Hapoel Jerusalem on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Hapoel Jerusalem 91-66 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hapoel Holon. H.Jerusalem outrebounded H.Holon 41-24 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. H.Jerusalem looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jared Harper (178-1997, college: Auburn) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 assists and Trinidad and Tobago-American Khadeen Carrington (193-1995, college: Seton Hall) who added 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Hapoel Jerusalem players scored in double figures. Hapoel Jerusalem's coach Yonatan Alon felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American center Marcus Bingham Jr (213-2000, college: Michigan St.) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import Jalen Adams (191-1995, college: UConn) scored 17 points. H.Jerusalem (3-1) moved-up to third place, which they share with Bnei Hertzeliya. H.Holon at the other side dropped to the fifth position with one game lost. They share it with M.Ramat Gan.
