Very important is a road loss of second rankedE.Ramla (6-2) against ninth ranked H.Petah Tikva (3-7) on Monday night. Visiting E.Ramla was crushed by H.Petah Tikva in Petah Tikva 90-62 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of E.Ramla. H.Petah Tikva dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to E.Ramla 's 28. H.Petah Tikva players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American guard Feyonda Fitzgerald (170-1995, college: Temple) had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Montenegrin power forward Bojana Kovacevic (191-1996, agency: BIG) chipped in 24 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side international guard Eden Rotberg (170-1998, agency: First Break) responded with 14 points and 9 rebounds and international guard Jennie Simms (183-1994, college: ODU) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. H.Petah Tikva moved-up to seventh place, which they share with M.Haifa and Hapoel K/S. Defending champion E.Ramla dropped to the third position with two games lost.
