There was no surprise in Kfar Saba where 9th rankedHapoel K/S (3-9) was defeated by fifth ranked Ramat Hasharon (6-6) 93-79 on Thursday. Ramat Hasharon made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Hapoel K/S turnovers. Ramat Hasharon looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Alisia Jenkins (186-1994, college: S.Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 16 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals and guard Stephanie Watts (180-1997, college: UNC) who added 29 points and 6 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) during the contest. The best for the losing side was swingman Iimar'I Thomas (178-2000, college: UCLA) with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and guard Lashann Higgs (175-1995, college: Texas) scored 24 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ramat Hasharon maintains fifth position with 6-6 record. Hapoel K/S lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth place with nine games lost. They share the position with H.Petah Tikva.
