No shocking result in a game when second rankedE.Ramla (8-2) defeated on the road 6th ranked E.Holon (5-7) 89-78 on Thursday. E.Ramla outrebounded E.Holon 53-35 including 38 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Jennie Simms (183-1994, college: ODU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 24 rebounds and 6 assists and American swingman Alexis Prince (188-1994, college: Baylor) who added 25 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four E.Ramla players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Ashley Owusu (183-2001, college: Penn State) with 30 points and 7 rebounds and her fellow American import power forward Khari Clark (188-2001, college: Stony Brook) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Defending champion maintains second position with 8-2 record having five points less than leader M.Ashdod. Loser E.Holon keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. They share the position with M.Haifa.
