There was no surprise when 6th rankedRamat Hasharon (6-9) was defeated on the road by second ranked E.Ramla (12-2) 80-69 on Monday. It was a great evening for international guard Jennie Simms (183-1994, college: ODU) who led her team to a victory scoring 28 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. American swingman Alexis Prince (188-1994, college: Baylor) helped adding 20 points and 14 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Russian forward Albina Razheva (189-1994) with 21 points and 6 rebounds and the former international point guard Yaara Yizchaki (168-1998) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. E.Ramla have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with 12-2 record behind leader M.Ashdod. Ramat Hasharon lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with M.Haifa.
