We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 11th rankedH.Kfar Saba (7-12) was defeated at home by twelfth ranked H.Izrael (7-11) 97-87 on Saturday. H.Izrael dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to H.Kfar Saba 's 32 and made 25-of-33 free shots (75.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded H.Kfar Saba 43-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. H.Izrael looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American Kevin Bracy-Davis (202-1995, college: Davis & Elkins, agency: Slash Sports) stepped up and scored 30 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and point guard Ido Shabat (182-1999) chipped in 18 points and 11 assists. H.Izrael's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American point guard Devon Thomas (183-1994, college: Texas Tech) with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists and forward Ben Aken Matan (200-1997) scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. H.Izrael moved-up to eleventh place. H.Kfar Saba lost fifth consecutive game. H.Kfar Saba at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the twelfth position with 12 games lost.
