Regular Season Round 16: H.Tel-Aviv - H.Be'er Sheva 82-83

The most exciting game of round 16 in the Winner League took place in Tel Aviv. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of much higher rankedHapoel Tel-Aviv (13-3) to ninth ranked Hapoel Beer Sheva (7-9) 83-82 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. H.Be'er Sheva looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Panamanian guard Iverson Molinar (193-1999, college: MSU) who helped to win the game recording 32 points and 5 assists and the former international Spencer Weisz (193-1995, college: Princeton) who added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side the former international Tomer Ginat (204-1994, agency: Avi Zilberman) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and American center Johnathan Motley (207-1995, college: Baylor) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four H.Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. H.Be'er Sheva moved-up to seventh place, which they share with H.Gilboa Galil. H.Tel-Aviv at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost.
