We should mention about the upset which took place in Nazareth, where 7th rankedE.Ashkelon (11-11) lost to tenth ranked H.Izrael (10-12) in a road game 68-77 . H.Izrael players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a good game for Italian-Nigerian center Peter Olisemeka (207-1991) who led his team to a victory with 30 points and 9 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Point guard Ido Shabat (182-1999) contributed with 8 points and 14 assists for the winners. H.Izrael's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American Cody Riley (206-1997, college: UCLA) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and Tomer Cohen (193-1997, agency: BIG) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for E.Ashkelon. Newly promoted H.Izrael maintains tenth position with 10-12 record. E.Ashkelon at the other side dropped to the eighth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with H.Safed Galil.
