Round 1 most important game was a victory ofE.Ramla over H.Jerusalem 105-98 on Monday night. E.Ramla made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Jennie Simms (183-1994, college: ODU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!), 16 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. American point guard Sug Sutton (173-1998, college: Texas) contributed with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. American forward Emily Engstler (185-2000, college: Louisville) answered with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 7 assists and international swingman Alyssa Baron (178-1992, college: Pennsylvania) added 24 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of her nine free throws !!!) in the effort for H.Jerusalem. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
