No shocking result in a game whenH.Safed Galil (14-15) beat at home Otef Darom (2-27) 81-75 on Tuesday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. H.Safed Galil outrebounded Otef Darom 46-34 including 31 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Dachon Burke (193-1997, college: USA) who led the winners and scored 37 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds. The former international power forward Daniel Koperberg (208-1997) accounted for 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side. American swingman Vince Cole (198-1998, college: Coastal) came up with 23 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Yonatan Abouloff (195-2005) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Otef Darom in the defeat. Four Otef Darom players scored in double figures. Otef Darom's coach Barak Peleg tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
