The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-rankedM.Raanana (24-5) on the court of third ranked Hapoel Eilat on Friday night. Visitors were rolled over by Hapoel Eilat 91-64 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of M.Raanana. H.Eilat made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game, while M.Raanana only scored five points from the stripe. They outrebounded M.Raanana 47-35 including 18 on the offensive glass. Five Hapoel Eilat players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized American point guard Alex Leder (180-1997, college: Gettysburg) responded with 13 points and American Tyler Wideman (203-1995, college: Butler) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. H.Eilat maintains third position with 20-9 record having just two point less than leader M.Raanana. M.Raanana at the other side still keeps top place with five games lost.
