Worth to mention about the upset in a game betweenHapoel Holon (13-11) and Afula (9-15), which took place in Afula. Higher ranked Hapoel Holon lost to eleventh ranked Afula in a road game 76-86 on Monday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hapoel Holon. H.Afula looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by American forward JP Tokoto (201-1993, college: UNC) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import guard JCovan Brown (190-1990, college: Texas) supported him with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Afula's coach Ariel Beit-Halahmy used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 12 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists by American point guard DJ Cooper (183-1990, college: Ohio) did not help to save the game for H.Holon . The former international guard Yiftah Ziv (191-1995, agency: Avi Zilberman) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. H.Afula maintains eleventh position with 9-15 record. Loser Hapoel Holon keeps the fifth place with 11 games lost.
