The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 63-58. M.Ashdod outrebounded H.Rishon LZ 44-29 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Stasha Carey (188-1995, college: Rutgers) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. International point guard Dor Saar (165-1999, college: MTSU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Shae Kelley (185-1991, college: Minnesota) who recorded 14 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import point guard Ariel Hearn (171-1994, college: Memphis) added 14 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively.
