H.Gilboa Galil dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Ironi Nes-Ziona 's 28. Strangely Ironi Nes-Ziona outrebounded H.Gilboa Galil 40-26 including a 21-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Niv Misgav (181-1995) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 assists. The former international forward Gur Lavi (198-2001, agency: BIG) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. H.Gilboa Galil's coach Sharon Avrahami used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American swingman Jake Van Tubbergen (201-1998, college: GVSU) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and the other American import Bryce Brown (190-1996, college: Auburn) added 18 points and 5 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) in the effort for Ironi Nes-Ziona. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
