E.Ashkelon outrebounded M.Rishon 48-31 including a 38-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. E.Ashkelon looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American Cody Riley (206-1997, college: UCLA) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. Tomer Cohen (193-1997, agency: BIG) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. E.Ashkelon's coach Yair Gewirtz used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward DJ Burns (201-2001, college: YSU, agency: Players Group) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import guard Qua Grant (185-1999, college: SHSU) added 10 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Four M.Rishon players scored in double figures.
