Very important is a road loss of third rankedI.Nahariya (22-7) against fifteenth ranked M.Haifa (8-20) on Thursday night. Visiting I.Nahariya was defeated by M.Haifa in a tough game in Haifa 79-84 . M.Haifa players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. American forward Josh Price (205-1996, college: S.Indiana) stepped up and scored 30 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and the former international point guard Naor Sharon (193-1995) chipped in 13 points and 11 assists. Four M.Haifa players scored in double figures. Guard Omer Ben David (188-2001) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists and American forward Marcellus Earlington (198-2000, college: San Diego, agency: Slash Sports) scored 24 points and 7 rebounds. M.Haifa moved-up to fourteenth place. I.Nahariya at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost.
