M.Ashdod made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. M.Ashdod outrebounded Otef Darom 44-30 including 17 on the offensive glass. M.Ashdod players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a good game for American point guard Robert Turner III (190-1993, college: Texas Tech) who led his team to a victory with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Raviv Pitshon (198-1989) contributed with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four M.Ashdod players scored in double figures. Naturalized American Storm Warren (211-1988, college: LSU) answered with 20 points and 8 rebounds and South African guard Samkelo Cele (194-1997, college: USAO) added 14 points in the effort for Otef Darom. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
