Hapoel Tel-Aviv looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American center Johnathan Motley (207-1995, college: Baylor) notched 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Serbian point guard Vasilije Micic (194-1994) supported him with 18 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Four Hapoel Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures. Even 19 points by American forward Amin Stevens (203-1990, college: FAMU) did not help to save the game for M.Rishon . His fellow American import guard Gabe DeVoe (191-1995, college: Clemson) added 13 points for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
