Banco di Sardegna wrote history today. They edged Grissin Bon RE on the road in the decisive seventh game of the championship series and celebrated the first ever Seria A title. The guests trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 27-18 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Jerome Dyson (191-87, college: Connecticut) fired 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. His fellow American import swingman Rakim Sanders (193-89, college: Fairfield) chipped in 18 points.
