Very predictable result when third ranked Milano Urania (9-2) beat on the road 12th ranked Padova (3-8) 85-70 on Sunday. Milano Urania made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Andrea Paleari (202-81) who had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds. Power forward Thomas De Min (203-86) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Milano Urania players scored in double figures. Forward Marco Lazzaro (198-92) produced 16 points and forward Enrico Crosato (194-85) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Padova's coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Milano Urania have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain third place in B with 9-2 record behind leader Roma E-basket. Newly promoted Padova dropped to the thirteenth position with eight games lost. Milano Urania will face Moncalieri (#15) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Padova will play against Lecco and hope to win that game.
