Regular Season Round 18: Bisceglie - Pescara 76-81

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Bisceglie (7-12) lost at home to seventh ranked Pescara (10-8) 81-76 on Sunday. It was a good game for guard Simone Pepe (185-93, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who led his team to a victory with 35 points (!!!). Guard Stefano Rajola (187-72) contributed with 11 points for the winners. Guard Mauro Torresi Lelli (189-84) replied with 17 points and 5 rebounds and forward Mathias Drigo (202-89) added 17 points in the effort for Bisceglie. Pescara moved-up to sixth place in B, which they share with Vicenza and Desio. Loser Bisceglie keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Pescara will face Vasto (#12) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Bisceglie will play against Campli and hope to win that game.
