Regular Season Round 4: MIA-RO Cantu - Banco di Srd 90-69

The game with biggest result difference took place in Cantu. Local AV Cantu (2-2) outscored higher ranked Banco di Srd (2-2) 90-69 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by AV Cantu. Banco di Srd managed to win second period 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a quality performance of American-FYR Macedonia Romeo Travis (201-84, college: Akron) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Croatia swingman Fran Pilepic (193-89) who added 20 points during the contest. At the losing side British center Gabriel Olaseni (211-91, college: Iowa, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Croatia point guard Rok Stipcevic (185-86, agency: Alti Sport) scored 13 points (made all of his seven free throws). Five AV Cantu and four Banco di Srd players scored in double figures. Banco di Srd's coach Federico Pasquini gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. AV Cantu moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Banco di Srd. AV Cantu will meet Betaland Cdo (#11) in the next round where they are favorite. Banco di Srd will play against VL Pesaro (#16) and hope to secure a win.
