Regular Season Round 9: Sestu - Bergamo 57-72

Very predictable result when second ranked Bergamo (7-2) won against on the road 13th ranked Sestu (3-6) 72-57 on Sunday. Bergamo forced 26 Sestu turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Bergamo especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. It was a good game for Tommaso Milani (190-88) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Naturalized Argentinian Mario Jose Ghersetti (201-81) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Naturalized Argentinian forward Guillermo Laguzzi (200-82) answered with 7 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Mauro Graviano (180-89) added 7 points and 5 assists in the effort for Sestu. Bergamo have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of B leader, which they share with Faenza and Orzinuovi GaGa. Newly promoted Sestu dropped to the eleventh place with six games lost. Bergamo will face Crema (#5) at home in the next round. Sestu will play against San Vendemiano (#15) and hope to win that game.
