Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Faenza (10-6) beat at home 9th ranked Reggio Emilia (6-10) 73-67 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Daniele Casadei (199-81) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 9 rebounds and forward Jacopo Silimbani (202-86, agency: Interperformances) who added 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side swingman Gioacchino Chiappelli (195-91) responded with 25 points and 5 rebounds and guard Enrico Germani (199-92) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Faenza moved-up to fifth place in B, which they share with Lecco. Newly promoted Reggio Emilia keeps the ninth position with ten games lost. Faenza will face Sestu (#15) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Reggio Emilia will play against Desio (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
