Regular Season Round 18: Legnano - Lighthouse TR 64-62

Seventh-ranked Lighthouse TR (9-9) was very close to win a game against first ranked Legnano (13-4) in Castellanza on Sunday. Legnano managed to secure only two-point victory 64-62. However their fans expected much easier game. Legnano looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American Nikolas Raivio (192-86, college: Portland, agency: Pensack Sports) notched 12 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the effort and the other American import center William Mosley (203-89, college: Northwestern St.) supported him with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Four Legnano players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by American point guard Keddric Mays (183-84) did not help to save the game for Lighthouse TR. The former international swingman Gabriele Ganeto (200-87) added 14 points and 7 rebounds. Legnano maintains first position in A2 with 13-4 record. Loser Lighthouse TR dropped to the tenth place with nine games lost. Legnano will meet Treviglio (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Lighthouse TR will play against Novipiu Casale and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
