Regular Season Round 2: MIA-RO Cantu - Vanoli CR 97-80

MIA-RO Cantu used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Cremona 97-80 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by MIA-RO Cantu. Vanoli Cremona was better in fourth quarter 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. MIA-RO Cantu looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Vanoli Cremona was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated the game. Point guard Randy Culpepper (183-89, college: UTEP, agency: Inception Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Jeremy Chappell (191-87, college: Robert Morris) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Swingman Kelvin Martin (195-89, college: Charleston So.) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward Landon Milbourne (201-87, college: Maryland) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Vanoli Cremona. Five MIA-RO Cantu and four Vanoli Cremona players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. MIA-RO Cantu will face Openjobmetis VA (#15) in Varese in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Vanoli Cremona will play at home against The Flexx PT and hope to win that game.
