Regular Season Round 6: The Flexx PT - MIA-RO Cantu 82-93

Date: November 5, 2017
Everything could happen in Pistoia at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked MIA-RO Cantu and 12th ranked The Flexx PT had identical 2-3 record. But The Flexx PT was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Cantu 93-82. 31 personal fouls committed by The Flexx PT helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American point guard Randy Culpepper (183-89, college: UTEP, agency: Inception Sports) who led his team to a victory with 36 points (!!!). International forward Christian Burns (203-85, college: Thomas Jefferson) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Markus Kennedy (206-91, college: SMU) replied with 26 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Ronald Moore (183-88, college: Siena) added 6 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists in the effort for The Flexx PT. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. MIA-RO Cantu (3-3) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams. The Flexx PT lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. MIA-RO Cantu's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Fiat TO in Torino and it may be quite challenging game. The Flexx PT will play on the road against Umana Venezia (#4) and hope to win that game.
