Regular Season Round 7: Libertas - Super Flavor M. 68-86

Very expected game in Livorno where bottom-ranked Libertas (0-7) were defeated by third ranked Super Flavor M. (6-1) 86-68 on Sunday. It was a great evening for forward Andrea Negri (193-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points. Center Luca Albique (197-97) helped adding 10 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. At the losing side power forward Gianluca Giorgi (200-95) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds and swingman Fabio Bastoni (188-88) scored 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Super Flavor M. moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Piacenza. Newly promoted Libertas still closes the standings with seven games lost. Super Flavor M. will face league's second-placed Firenze All Foods at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Libertas will play against Piombino (#6) and hope to get finally their first victory.
